As we go into our last day of prayers for our daughters, I want to focus on the protection of our daughters faith. See, we live in a world today, as I’ve said before, that is fighting for our daughters hearts. When the heart is taken the mind, body and spirit follows. It’s not just about following Christ, she needs to know truth in Christ. Our daughters will be faced with many different worldly viewpoints that may be tempting and pull her in. We want to stop the enemy in his tracks, shut the mouths of lions that seek to devour her spiritual innocence. The only way she will be able to stand when different people, religions or things try to shake her faith, is to defend her faith. Knowing how to will the word of God when someone tries to feed her lies, she knows for a fact her God and who she is in Him.
Father, allow my daughter to seek you, understand you, know you and live for you, unapologetically. Give her knowledge to know how to stand in the face of opposition to your word. I pray for Your emotional, physical, mental and spiritual protection over our daughters. May you give her discernment to recognize truth and lies. Guard her mind from injurious instructions that may cause her to question who she is in You. And if she does question, Lord, help her to seek the answers she needs to defend her faith amongst the enemy. Give her words to speak so that she is a catalyst for change through You. Let her be transformed and not conform to the standards, ideals and ways of this society. Romans 12:2 Let her always be ready to make a defense to anyone who ask her the reason for her hope. As she recognizes truth, allow her to be bold and courageous to share this truth with others. Remind her that You are with her always and her faith will not be put to disgrace. Romans 10:11 Lord, teach her what to say, how to help those who are weary and make her want to learn. Isaiah 50:4
In Jesus name, amen.
